Overdue Updates and Pictures

I apologize for slacking in my responsibilites as Aunt Maria here at the Roberson household. A lot has gone on here in the last few days. Charlie is now 5 days old and revealing more and more of his adorable personality everyday. Katie and Jason have been such troopers in this whole process and are doing a fabulous job upholding their maternal/paternal responsibilities. Lately, this has included: staying up endless hours of the night, being available 24/7 as a source of Charlies nutrients(obviously Katie), getting peed/spewed on more than a few times, reading up on all kinds of infant development books and of course loving my little nephew like crazy. We have been blessed by church members who have kindly brought dinners to the house the past week. These upcoming weeks are so exciting......in that we have many family members who will be paying a visit here celebrating Charlie's birth, as well as remembering the Mayflower and eating turkey.
Keep checking the blog. We will be posting more pictures and videos from the last 5 days.

Love you all! Thanks for all of your love and support!

Back to Virginia

This was the first weekend back in Virginia in almost 5 weeks. Home Sweet Home! Here are some pictures from the beautiful baby shower Maria threw for me in Virginia. The beautiful cake was done by my friend Ashley. It tasted as good as it looks. I also got some really adorable camouflage clothing. Below is a picture of the Air Force bib... so cute!

Maria, Jason and I also were excited to meet up with Aunt Judy and Uncle Jerry in Alexandria this week on their east coast adventure. We ate at a yummy restaurant at the pier in Old Town Alexandria. The weather is gorgeous this time of year. I am thankful that summer is over...
